👥 A Game for Two

Nine Men's Morris is designed for two players. Each player has nine marbles, with the aim of forming rows of three while preventing your opponent from doing the same.

🎯 How to Play

1. Place your marbles
Each player chooses nine marbles of the same colour. Players take turns placing one marble on an empty space on the board, aiming to create a row of three along any marked line.

2. Form a row of three
Whenever you create a line of three marbles, you can remove one of your opponent's marbles. A marble can normally only be removed from a row of three if your opponent has no other available marbles.

3. Move your marbles
Once all the marbles have been placed, players take turns moving one marble at a time to an adjacent empty space along a marked line. The goal remains the same — create rows of three and capture your opponent's marbles.

4. Break and rebuild your lines
To use the same row of three again, you must first break the line by moving one of its marbles. This adds another layer of strategy to the game.

5. Win the game
The winner is the player who reduces their opponent to two marbles or blocks all of their opponent's remaining marbles so they cannot make a legal move.
